As the summer heat descends over us, many of us wish we could escape for just a bit to cooler pastures. Those of us who can afford it make full use of our annual vacation days at work and go off to the season’s trendiest locations. Those of us who can’t watch all the vacation updates longingly on social media. While it’s obviously not as good as the real thing, it does give us something to aim for. After all, why work hard when you can’t even dream about playing hard?
This year, like any other, our favorite celebrities’ social media is filled with their summer pictures. From Spain, to Turkey, to up north in our own fair country, these are the celebrities that are filling our feeds with vacation goals:
1. Ayesha Omar graces the streets of Spain
Ayesha Omar spent the past week taking in the sights and sounds of Spain. The actress soaked in the sun on Barcelona’s beaches, brunched on poached eggs at the Brunch & Cake cafe, and shopped in the marketplaces of Carrer Del Banys Nous street.

Her sightseeing stops included the iconic La Pedrera building and the La Sagrada Familia church, both designed by the famous Spanish architect Antoni Gaudi.

Ayesha’s vacation style was unique and true to her personality. She was seen in a neon green cut-out dress paired with a silk Gaudi inspired scarf.

Ayesha flew back to Pakistan just in time for Rehbra’s premiere and was basking in the post-vacation glow on the red carpet!
2. Sonia Mishal’s romantic getaway to Turkey
Newlywed Sonia Mishal took a trip to Turkey with her husband this past month. The actress enjoyed the sights of Istanbul, finding some very cool murals to pose in front of and getting to see the historic Hagia Sophia mosque.

The couple also spent time exploring the rock formations of Cappadocia and even got to see the sky fill up with hot air balloons.

Sonia’s style was laid back and easy during this trip. We especially loved the floral dress she wore under a beige jacket paired with lilac mules. Her light blue ruched dress and cream colored hat also had us wanting to live out our cottagecore dreams under the blue skies of Turkey.

3. Zarnish Khan
Zarnish Khan chose to spend her summer vacations closer to home, taking to the mountains of Hunza with some of her close friends. Zarnish has fallen in love with the Luxus Hunza hotel that looks out over the sparkling waters of Attabad Lake.

The actress took a day trip further north to the majestic Passu Cones mountain peaks that tower over green orchards in the nearby village.

Hunza is the perfect summer getaway for those of us who prefer local vacations. After seeing all of Zarnish’s updates, we just might be tempted to take a drive up north.

4. Mira Sethi’s globe-trotting
Writer and actress Mira Sethi has been jet-setting from one country to another this summer. Last month, Mira was in New York for a friend’s wedding, where she looked stunning in a golden embroidered sari. While in the United States, she also dropped by Baltimore to participate in the opening celebrations of artist Salman Toor’s exhibition No Ordinary Love at the Baltimore Museum of Art.

Mira then crossed the Atlantic Ocean to Europe where she’s been vacationing with her husband. The couple’s first stop was Spain, where they stayed in Barcelona. They attended a concert and took a tour of the city’s many sights, including the La Sagrada Familia. Mira’s style was understated and laid back. She was seen in block colored tank tops, which she dressed up with statement earrings and chic sunglasses. We especially loved her concert look: Mira wore a form fitting blue jumpsuit that showed off not only her lean figure but also her unique personality.

Mira and her husband are now in France where they’re taking in the sights and sounds of the historic city of Marseille. Needless to say, this multi-country trip is giving us serious vacation goals!
5. Sunita Marshall’s family vacation
During the last two weeks, Sunita Marshall has been traveling around Turkey with her husband and two children. The family’s vacation began in Izmir where they got to see the ancient Roman ruins of the province.

Their trip was packed with a variety of experiences: they enjoyed Pammukale’s hot springs with friends and visited a super fun upside down house.

In Antalata, they basked in the sun on Lara Beach, which overlooks the Mediterranean Sea, and visited the Duden Waterfall.

The family visited Istanbul and Bursa, and also got to snap a picture with the infamous Salt Bae!

Of course, no trip to Turkey is complete without the Cappadocia hot air balloon rides, which Sunita and family seemed to have a great time doing. We love that the family had such a full itinerary and took the time to truly see all sides of Turkey!
