Television personality and former MNA Aamir Liaquat Hussain passed away in Karachi earlier today. The 49-year-old was found in his home early in the morning and shifted to Aga Khan University Hospital.
While speaking to media, Deputy Inspector General for Karachi’s East district confirmed that there were no apparent signs of foul play. A post-mortem examination of the body will be conducted at the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre.
In his last days, Hussain found himself in the middle of a public controversy around the dissolution of his third marriage. The actor had recently vowed to leave Pakistan. There is no further information as yet regarding his death.
