It seems that the Pakistani film industry is past its gloomy days after the pandemic and many movies are in line to be released. Following the roaring success of The Legend of Maula Jatt, cinegoers are excited to be back in cinemas after years of wait and now finally it is time for Urwa Hocane’s production debut, Tich Button to see the light of day.
The film is set to release on 11th November. ARY Digital has released the trailer of the film on Tuesday at an entertaining event and later on YouTube.
“We present to you, the theatrical trailer of Tich Button, the mesmerizing tale of friendship and love, shadowed by betrayal and heartbreak simultaneously in a village of Punjab and Turkey,” the description read.
Set in two contrasting locations, Punjab in Pakistan and Turkey, the trailer is nowhere near short of compelling and vibrant sights. Parallels are drawn between the visuals of the vibrant and festive Punjab and the contemporary and ravishing Turkey. The trailer begins with a pun referring to Maula Jatt which sets the tone for the rest of the comedic roller coaster. Each character is introduced beginning with Farhan Saeed who is seen dancing in a blue kurta. Following him, we see Sonya Hussain lighting up the screen with her dominant personality. On the other hand, Feroze Khan and Iman Ali are seen in Turkey. Feroze is essaying the role of a chef while Iman is giving us the vibes of strong headed and privileged woman.

From the trailer, we can interpret that Iman and Feroze’s characters are a couple who come for a visit to Pakistan while Farhan and Sonya’s characters are based in Punjab. A series of events result in utter chaos when, from what it seems, Iman will fall for Farhan’s character while Sonya and Feroze might become interested in each other. The plot will then unravel the story of these characters who find themselves amidst betrayal, conflicting interests, and heartbreak. This one surely is not to be missed!
