After giving fans a sneak peek during the Emmy Awards on Sunday, Netflix on Tuesday released the first official trailer of the long-awaited Breaking Bad movie.

The movie will pick up right where the series finale of Breaking Bad left off six years ago — and Aaron Paul’s character Jesse Pinkman is looking for revenge. The hit TV drama ended in 2013 after wanted drug kingpin Walter White (played by Bryan Cranston) rescued Jesse from the hideout of a white supremacist gang where he was being held captive and forced to make meth. Audiences last saw Jesse crashing through the gates of the complex and cheering his newfound freedom.

From the trailer’s opening moments, it is clear that things haven’t been going well for Jesse. Tired and dishevelled in appearance, we see Walter White’s former apprentice seek shelter from the police at the home of his reliable old friend, Skinny Pete (Charles Baker).

Unfortunately, there are only a few words spoken in the El Camino trailer, which consists mostly of intriguing scenes set to the haunting song Black Water by Reuben and the Dark. The preview has left us with even more questions than we had before, but thankfully, we only have to wait until the movie lands on Netflix on October 11.
