Salman Khan’s ‘Dabangg Tour,’ which kicked off last year, has already entertained several cities around the world and was scheduled to fly out to Nepal on March 10. The tour includes performances by the Khan, along with a team of other Bollywood stars. However, recent reports reveal that the tour has been canceled after facing threats by the Nepalese Communist Party.
The party leader, Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’, demanded cancellation of the show and called all nationalist forces to unite, claiming it amounts to ‘expansion of cultural intervention on Nepali soil’. Meanwhile, the show’s organisers in Kathmandu have stated, “The show is just postponed for further dates and is going to be rescheduled very soon.”
The tour included Bollywood stars such as Sonakshi Sinha, Kriti Sanon, Prabhudheva, Daisy Shah, as well as some top Nepalese artists and other performers from Bollywood.
