Game of Thrones fans will rejoice at this news! Everyone got excited when global hit series, which concluded after eight seasons in 2019, got a spin-off, taking a new form on television. The wait is almost over now as HBO has shared the first-look concept art from House of the Dragon.
The sneak peek at the new show arrived just when HBO’s parent company, Warner Bros. made the big announcement that all of its 2021 movies will stream on HBO Max and will have theatrical run alongside, wherever it is possible.
The announcement also made it official that production on the series will begin in 2021:

According to IndieWire, based on George R.R. Martin’s 2018 book Fire & Blood, the series — House of the Dragon — will tell the story of the House of Targaryen (also known as the House that gave us the Mother of Dragons herself, Daenerys Targaryen) and take place 300 years before the events of the original Game of Thrones series.
