The covid situation in Pakistan seems to be getting out of control. Despite getting vaccinated, several celebrities including Ushna Shah, Adnan Siddiqui and others have shared that they have tested positive for the virus. Faysal Quraishi also took to Instagram to share the unfortunate news.
The actor has tested positive for Covid-19. He took to social media to announce that he is isolating at home.
“[The virus] hit me yesterday,” he wrote. “I’m in isolation for the next few days. [I’m] vaccinated [and have] no symptoms so far.”
Faysal emphasised that the Delta variant must not be taken lightly. “Take care of yourself and be safe. This Delta variant is getting closer.”
The Delta variant of COVID-19, first reported in India, is contributing to a rapid rise in Covid cases in various parts of Asia including Pakistan. It has been described as the “most transmissible of the variants identified so far” by the WHO.
