SActor Humayun Saeed is set to appear on BBC World’s flagship program Global with Matthew Amroliwala. Humayun is currently in the United Kingdom to promote his upcoming film London Nahi Jaunga (LNJ), a sequel to the 2017 film Punjab Nahi Jaungi (PNJ).

Like the original film, LNJ stars Humayun and Mahwish Hayat in the leading roles. However, the film’s story is not connected to that of PNJ. In LNJ, it is Humayun’s character who leaves the comfort of his home in Punjab and travels to the urban landscape of London for the sake of love. While there are similarities between the characters of the two films, they are not connected to each other.
BBC World’s Global program presents news from across the world, touching on topics that range from politics to culture. Humayun was invited on the show to speak about LNJ and the Pakistani film industry. He was introduced by host Matthew Amroliwala as one of the “most successful actors and producers in Pakistan”. Humayun is also set to appear on Netflix’s The Crown as Dr Hasnat Khan, a close friend of Princess Diana’s.
