Deepika Padukone may be one of the most sought-after Bollywood stars when it comes to advertising magnetism, however, it seems she won’t be saying yes to many brands anymore.
According to India TV, the Padmaavat actress reportedly pulled out her name from a beverage brand that she used to endorse as she doesn’t want to promote a sugary and aerated beverage.
Part of Deepika’s ‘healthy lifestyle’ plan, the actress has reportedly started refusing and pulling out her name from brands that she doesn’t use and thinks are not part of her healthy lifestyle. Thus, speculations are rife that Deepika will no more be seen endorsing the aerated beverages in the near future.
The actress, however, is not the first celebrity to take such an action. In the past, Virat Kohli had also refused to promote fizzy or aerated drinks after his multi-crore deal with the soft-drink giant expired last year. He reportedly said that quitting soft drinks was a part of his ‘fitness turnaround’, and eventually he started growing uncomfortable with the fact that he’s promoting products which he himself won’t consume.
