The festival had screened the movie on March 20, followed by a Q&A session with Asim as well as some of the cast members. The award ceremony took place last night and the award was accepted by BBC broadcast journalist, Attika Choudhary on the director’s behalf.
“Oh wow! So humbled and moved. Thank you @cometoUKAFF for the honour,” Asim wrote on Twitter.
