Born in Peshawar in 1948, he had a career spanning over 4 decades. In 1971, he started his television career as an actor in Pushto television play. His first Urdu play was Aik Tha Gaoon in 1973.
Rashid Naz made his big-screen debut with Syed Noor’s Dakait and was highly appreciated for his roles in Shoaib Mansoor’s films Khuda Ke Liye and Verna.
He also appeared in various Pashto, Hindko and Urdu tv shows.
Our deepest condolences go out to the actor’s family. May his soul rest in peace.
