“When friendships are honoured, love is abundant. But when greed and evil are thrown into that mix life takes a 180 degree! I bring to you a rollercoaster of mixed emotions and a vulnerable navigation of life,” shared Junaid on Instagram, announcing the update regarding his debut film.

According to the makers, the film promises a ‘journey of friendships, life transformation and self-discovery.’

The trailer opens with the line “Mujhe toh sab kuch badalta nazar araha hai’ (I can see everything changing) followed by a determined “Hum badlein gay” (We will bring the change). Junaid Khan is seen playing a police officer while Mansha Pasha essays the character of a fearless journalist.

It looks like the two start off as college sweethearts, however, end up as rivals in the professional field. Mansha’s character accuses Junaid’s of being related to the drug mafia. In short, the trailer features the lead cast’s journey from college students to professionals fighting each other.

While the trailer initially states that the police is corrupt, Junaid’s character seems to be on a mission to change that perception. He is later shown to be on the right side. “Unchai se neeche ki cheezain kabhi nazar aa hee nahi sakti, chakar ane lageinge,” (You can’t see what’s going on at the bottom from the top, you’ll just get dizzy.) states his character.

Judging from the 1-minute long trailer, the narrative which revolves around drug-related crimes and journalism ethics appears to be interesting, however, the soul seems to be missing. There is too much going on in the trailer adding unnecessary confusion.

Produced by Wijdaan Films and directed by Jalal Roomi, the film also stars Kamran Bari, Roma Michael, Dino Ali, Atiqa Odho and Sajid Hassan.
