Since, its release The Legend of Maula Jatt is ruling the box office and making the film fraternity proud of all the feedback it has garnered, over the last month, since its release . The film reached another milestone by becoming the highest grossing film from the Indian Subcontinent at UK box office in the past four years.
According to to British film publication Screen Daily, “The Legend of Maula Jatt is now the highest-grossing film from the Indian subcontinent in the past few years. Released by Moviegoers Entertainment, accumulated £44,149 (Rs11.5 million) on its fifth weekend. Its performance has dropped considerably lower than many competitors as its run continues at 54.6 per cent, bringing the film to almost £1.3m (Rs340 million). That’s more than the £1.26m (Rs329 million) of this year’s Indian title Ponniyan Selvan: I.”
The film trade analyst, Ali Zain shared the figures that reflect the exceptional performance of the film on the box office:

The director of the film, Bilal Lashari shared the film’s box office success which has exceeded the 150 crore benchmark.

The film is produced by Ammara Hikmat under the joint venture of Encyclomedia & Lashari films in association with AAA Motion Pictures. The filmmakers have partnered with Geo Films as their presenting partner. The film will be locally distributed by Nadeem Mandviwalla of Mandviwalla Entertainment. Internationally, the film will be distributed by MovieGoers Entertainment. It stars Fawad and Mahira Khan, Humaima Malick, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Gohar Rasheed, Faris Shafi and Ali Azmat. The film was released on October 13.
