2021 marks 50 years of the separation of East Pakistan, now Bangladesh, and thus a film, many dramas, telefilms, series are made this year to remember the fateful time. Another addition to the long list of projects is Pakistan’s first mini series by Behive Transmedia, titled Khaab Toot Jaatay Hain which will release soon on Hum TV.

The first teaser was revealed a few days ago, leaving everyone shocked by its engrossing visuals. Directed by Ehteshamuddin who plays the central character, a Bengali Professor Dr. Syed Sajjad Hussain, who was the Vice Chancellor of Dhaka University in 1971. The series is based on his book The Wastes Of Times and Ehteshamuddin is playing the author in it, narrating his story.

The cast includes Nadeem Baig, Ehteshamuddin, Kulsoom Aftab, Peerzada Salman, Noor ul Hasan, Mohammad Ahmed, Saleem Mairaj, Eman Ahmed, Hania Ahmed, Ali Rizvi, Sunil Shankar, Saad Fareedi, Sharjil Baloch, Nazar ul Hasan, Hammad Siddique, Manan Hameed, Noreen Gulwani and Shabir Bhatti.
