Lately, both Bollywood and Tollywood (Tamil cinema) have started to explore myriads of ideas and actors amongst themselves to give the Hindi and Tamil film audiences the best of both worlds. Now, it seems that the same idea has reached none other than King Khan of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan.
With the recent release of the Tamil crime thriller Vikram-Vedha, that starred R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi, becoming a commercial success overnight, it seems to have sparked an idea for an opportunity for Shah Rukh.
The success of the Tamil film proved exemplary enough, that the biggest Khan of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan has been known to show interest in the film’s Hindi remake. An Indian online publication reported that SRK recently attained the rights to the film and is all set to perform a lead role in it. The actor will commence the shooting of his newest film once he’s done with Anand L Rai’s untitled film.

Surprisingly, the production house of Vikram Vedha recently took to Twitter, claiming in a Tweet that they have not sold the rights of the film to anyone as yet.
We have not sold the remake rights of VikramVedha in any language. We have plans of producing it ourselves. Official announcement soon. Tx
