Fans of Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt, rejoice! Despite numerous delays and release date issues, it seems Rajkumar Hirani’s homage to Sanju Baba, the Dutt biopic finally has been given an official release date.
Starring Ranbir Kapoor, along with Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Vicky Kaushal and Karishma Tanna in pivotal roles, the film will now release on June 29th.
The film was initially set to release on March 30, 2018, but was later delayed to production issues. However, confirming the new, the production house of the film, Fox Star Hindi also took to Twitter and tweeted about the release.
“The no-holds-barred story of Sanjay Dutt, directed by @RajkumarHirani, #DuttBiopic releasing on June 29! A Fox Star Studios presentation, produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and #RajkumarHirani. #RanbirKapoor,” it read.
According to Indian media, Dutt essays the life of Sanjay in each of the decades the actor has been part of Bollywood. From lovelorn days to his sizzling chemistry with Madhuri Dixit and the alleged affairs, the film allegedly explores it all!
