The date is set and all the details are seemingly falling into place for Padmaavat actors Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s  wedding, the most anticipated wedding the tinsel town. The big day is fast approaching and the top question in our minds is, what will Deepika wear at the ceremony?
Speculations were rife that Sabyasachi Mukherjee is expected to design Deepika’s outfit for the wedding. The actress has been his muse for years and prefers wearing his pieces on special occasions. In fact, whenever asked who her favourite designer is, Dippy does not hesitate from mentioning Sabya. Naturally, we were eagerly waiting for a hint and the designer has provided us one himself.

Earlier today, Sabyasachi posted a picture on Instagram featuring Deepika in one of his ravishing red numbers from his latest bridal collection. The Padmaavat star is donned in a Banarasi saree with a heavy choker, personifying a quintessential Indian bride in vintage red glam. Although the design is from a bridal assortment, the timings of the post are vital.

Sabyasachi had previously set a standard for a go-to modern bride look with Anushka Sharma’s blush pink lehenga, which was delicately embroidered in vintage English hues. Keeping in mind Deepika’s classy and elegant style, we wonder if the designer will stick to an opulent number or break the rules to complement the larger-than-life Bollywood jodi.
We have to say that we’re just as interested in what Ranveer Singh – with his whimsical sense of style – will wear as groom.
Deepika and Ranveer’s wedding is scheduled to take place on 14th and 15th November, most likely at a private villa Italy.
