After its release last December in Pakistani cinemas, the Bilal Ashraf, Gohar Rasheed, and Urwa Hocane starrer, Rangreza is now out on Netflix.
Announcing the news on Twitter, Bilal Ashraf thanked the team for the ‘learning experience.’

The film, which tanked massively at the box office with a collection of approximate PKR 3 Crore, explores the life of Reshmi (Urwa Hocane), who belongs to a traditional Qawwal family and has been engaged since childhood to her cousin, Waseem (Gohar Rasheed). Conflict arises when Ali (Bilal Ashraf), a famous pop star falls in love with Reshmi. The film is a journey of how two different classes and schools of thought come together.
The film can now be accessed by anyone with a Netflix account worldwide and is one of the few Pakistani films available on the popular streaming platform. Other Pakistani films available on Netflix include  Chalay Thay Saath, Ho Mann Jahaan, Na Maloom Afraad, and Dukhtar, amongst a few others.
Will the film fare well on Netflix than it did during its cinema run? We can hope so.
