Madiha Imam seems to be on a roll these days. From TV dramas to films and web series, the actor is using every medium to showcase her talent. Apart from Fawad Khan’s film Neelofar and upcoming drama Safar Tamam Huwa (working title) alongside Ali Rehman Khan, she will also be seen in Mujhay Vida Kar with Muneeb Butt.

“It feels great to see people recognizing that an actor like me can do various roles and that too convincingly,” shared Madiha Imam in an exclusive chat with Something Haute.

Mujhay Vida Kar revolves around the issue of how domestic abuse can ruin a woman’s life. It will feature post-marriage emotional abuse, and how it affects a person’s mental health.

“This is exactly the kind of role most people asked why I don’t do. ‘The mazloom woman’,” said the actor when speaking about her role in Mujhay Vida Kar.

Previously, the actor said she owns all her projects but she’s not proud of a few that she has done. Madiha is conscious of her art and has principles that she values more than fame. Keeping that in mind, we asked the actor why she chose to play a helpless character.

“They have put it nicely and concluded it well,” she replied adding that she hopes the audiences will like it.

The cast also includes Saba Hamid, Shabbir Jan, Saboor Aly, Raza Talish, Maira Khan, Sana Askari, Haris Waheed, Mariam Ansari, and others.

Directed by Anjum Shahzad and written by Samra Bukhari, Mujhay Vida Kar will air on ARY Digital.
