Amongst the few brave Pakistani films to release following the coronavirus lockdown was Kahay Dil Kidhar starring Junaid Khan and Mansha Pasha.

Produced by Wijdaan Films and directed by Jalal Roomi, the film promises a ‘journey of friendships, life transformation and self-discovery.’ It features Junaid as a cop and Mansha as a fearless journalist and also stars Kamran Bari, Roma Michael, Dino Ali, Atiqa Odho and Sajid Hassan.

The film will now have a special screening (today) at Expo 2020 Dubai.

“Happening on the 11th of February, we will be having a meet and greet with actors and singers, Junaid Khan and Kamran Bari, which will start from 5pm onwards! Join them for the screening of the movie which will begin at 6pm and will be held in the Multipurpose Room, Pakistan Pavilion at Expo2020,” read the official announcement.

Pakistan launched a week-long film festival at its pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai. Eleven films were screened at the festival with the aim to showcase Pakistani film industry’s versatility and talent at the world’s largest fair.

The inauguration was held on January 21 and was attended by Fawad Chaudhry, Pakistan’s Minister of Information and Broadcasting, as well as Afzaal Mahmood, Pakistan’s ambassador to the UAE.
