Pakistani film star Meera recently addressed accusations of her earning money through fraud in a press conference held in Lahore. In response to the allegations she has faced lately, the star claimed that she is an extremely good human being and her whole life and career is based on struggle and hard work.

“I offered my own residency to a poor family during the corona pandemic. I allowed them to stay there for a period of three months and in return, they are making false accusations against me,” she said.

Meera stated that she is a heroine both onscreen and offscreen. “Some people are accusing a real-life heroine like me,” the actress remarked.

 

 

The actor who is often in news for her controversial statements claimed that she had done a few people some favours “for the sake of humanity”. “I am a pure, virtuous, and a truthful woman,” she said.

She also offered to disclose the details of her assets. “I will hang myself if I’m found guilty of fraud and corruption and if any allegations are proved true,” she said.

“I present my records to all agencies. You may (try and) hold me accountable,” Meera claimed, adding that she has nothing to hide. However, the actress refused to provide a copy of her bank statement and left the press conference crying.
