After giving three back to back hits, filmmaking duo Nabeel Qureshi and Fizza Ali Meerza are back with their next venture titled Load Wedding, starring Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayat in the lead once again. But, what exactly is Load Wedding? We find out!
“It is a family drama with a lot of relatability and comments cooked in the broth of romance and lightheartedness,” shared producer Fizza when we asked her how Load Wedding will be different from their previous movies, Namaloon Afraad, its sequel and Actor in Law.
There has also been a lot of curiosity regarding the title. “It is to do with the load that comes with the wedding, especially in our society,” she explained.
It is also no secret that Fahad Mustafa is the filmmakers most preferred actor; he’s been the lead in all their ventures so far. “Fahad and Mehwish are truly one of the finest actors our industry has,” Fizza said regarding the cast. “That’s what the film’s requirement was; [acting],” she added saying they fit the requirement perfectly.

Nabeel, who feels that he works best with Fahad, also revealed in an earlier chat that the film will be a change from his past films. Load Wedding is slated for an Eid ul Azha release.
