Zindagi Gulzar Hai‘s lead couple, Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed, have reunited for an upcoming web series for Zee5 by renowned filmmaker Asim Abbasi. The title is yet to be announced.
Director Asim Abbasi took to social media to share the teasers featuring Fawad and Sanam surrounded by mountains while getting directions from Asim. The second picture is a dreamy shot of the actors.

“Mystical land. Magical realism. And a big, old family in the middle of it,” wrote Asim, who is also the director of the critically acclaimed web series Churails, that also premiered on Zee5
“There’s Fawad. There’s Sanam. Both giving delicious performances, along with every other cast member (to be revealed in good time). Indebted to these great, great actors for giving their all to this project,” he continued praising producer Shailja Kejriwal, chief content officer, special projects, Zee Entertainment.

“Long road ahead, but for now, feeling very blessed. I hope everyone who has entertained my work in the past, finds a little home for their soul in this new series,” Asim concluded.
Speaking to Mid-Day, Shailja shared that it was the audiences demand to see the Zindagi Gulzar Hai couple together again.

“Fawad and Sanam have massive popularity among the audiences and there’s often been a lot of demand to bring them onscreen together. Our effort, however, was always to focus on identifying the right script that would do justice to both their talent and our long standing association with them. We believe this show – a genre defying series, is the perfect opportunity to extend the special association we have with them, and it is certainly a win for us to be able to find the right creative collaborators for this show,” she said.
