Mehreen Jabbar’s web series Ek Jhoothi Love Story starring Madiha Imam and Bilal Abbas Khan as leads is now available for streaming for the viewers in America on Zee5 USA.
The web series was originally released in October 2020 on Zee5 and garnered viewer’s praises as well as applause from critics. Nearly an year after its release, the director took to Instagram and has announced that the series is now available for people in America.

“Ek Jhoothi Love Story is a sweeping tale of Salma (Madiha Imam) and Sohail (Bilal Abbas) in the quest for love and an ideal partner. It’s a light-hearted family drama with compelling, quirky characters and a fascinating exploration of different kinds of relationships and the path they carve along the way. It will resonate deeply with a generation that aspires to settle for nothing less than an IDEAL partner and a perfect life,” the official description stated.
Last year, Mehreen Jabbar said in a press statement that it is a beautiful narration of an imperfect family chasing perfections in this imperfect world.
The web series is written by Umera Ahmed, who has also penned the recently concluded Dhoop Ki Deewar, another web series on Zee5.
