Atif Aslam’s United States tour is in full swing, with back-to-back concerts over the past weekend. The singer performed in DC, Boston, New Jersey, and Austin to sold-out audiences.
Something Haute spoke to makeup artist Nazish Jaffer who saw Atif live at the New Jersey Performing Arts Centre on 4th June. “The quality of the performance was by far the best,” Nazish shared her experience of all of Atif’s concerts. “He was drawing attention with his groovy dance moves, he was engaging and very interactive with the crowd through small gestures like writing autographs, shaking hands, and blowing kisses to the audience.”
Atif performed to a sold-out venue, the hall being full to capacity with 3000 people. People from different communities came together to enjoy the night — there were folks from the Pakistani community, as well as the Indian, Bangladeshi, and Nepalese communities.
As always, Atif’s crowd was filled with people from all age groups, from the young to the elderly. “I really enjoyed watching the elderly, (they were) totally mesmerized,” said Nazish, “The youth was going crazy, obviously.”

“He really retained an aura of joy,” Nazish told us, “and the energy was exhilarating for sure.”
This was Atif’s tenth show on the 2022 US and Canada tour. The singer performed in Austin the next day and is scheduled to perform eight more shows over the coming month. If his Jersey tour was any indication, Atif’s fans are in for some energy-packed performances.
