Sanam Saeed shares that her upcoming project with Fawad Khan is a family drama

Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed have reunited for an upcoming web series for Zee5 by renowned filmmaker Asim Abbasi. The title is yet to be announced, however, the pictures from the set have already made fans impatient.

The actors are reuniting for a project eight years after their hit television serial Zindagi Gulzar Hai (2013).

While not much is known about the plot or characters, Sanam in an interview with Indian cultural journalist, Puja Talwar shared that it is a family drama. She also added that the characters are very different from Kashaf Murtaza and Zaroon Junaid.

“I can’t say much about my character but it’s a family drama. Expect a very different dynamic between Fawad and me. Don’t come in expecting a Jodi of Kashaf Murtaza and Zaroon Junaid,” she said without going into the details.

Speaking to Mid-Day, Shailja Kejriwal, chief content officer, special projects, Zee Entertainment shared that it was the audiences demand to see the Zindagi Gulzar Hai couple together again.

“Fawad and Sanam have massive popularity among the audiences and there’s often been a lot of demand to bring them onscreen together,” she had said.
