Social distancing is the best mechanism to control the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). Unfortunately, not everyone seems to be on the same page. Veteran actor Bushra Ansari took to Instagram to share that she too had contracted the virus, however, she decided to self isolate and not risk the lives and wellbeing of those around her.
The actor shared news of her testing positive for coronavirus on social media on Monday. She shared that she’s quickly recovering from the Omicron variant.
“Thank God I am recovering from [the Omicron variant quickly],” she wrote. [But I am terribly sad] to have missed my friend Rubina Ashraf s daughter’s wedding. Allah Mina ko bohat khush rakhy [May Allah keep Mina happy].[I] didn’t want to be a risk in [the] wedding for my friends.”

The multi-talented artist requested everyone to take precautions against the virus as well.
According to the latest reports, four cities across the country reported over 10 per cent positivity of Covid-19 cases on Monday.
The National Command and Operation Centre held a meeting to consider possible ways to curb the spread of the dreaded disease by placing restrictions on public gatherings, weddings, schools, restaurants and public transportation.

People are advised to wear face masks in public places, practice social distancing and get vaccinated amongst other preventative measures to protect themselves and their loved ones against the coronavirus.
