Actor, director and filmmaker Yasir Nawaz has recently announced that he has geared up to make his first commercial film in Sindhi language in collaboration with acclaimed Sindhi drama writer Noorul Huda Shah.
Yasir took to Instagram and posted a video on the occasion of Sindh Culture Day that is celebrated on the first Sunday of December every year.

“Today is Sindh Culture Day and I wish everyone on the occasion. And I want to give a good news and make an announcement that I have decided to direct a Sindhi film; I felt that I’m a Sindhi and it is required of me to direct a Sindhi film. Good news is that Sindh’s renowned dramatist Apa Noorul Huda Shah will be writing this film. This will be a big gift from Noor Apa and me to Sindh. We need your prayers,” Yasir said in the video.

Noorul Huda Shah has previously given dramas like Jungle, Marvi, Bebak, Tapish, Ajayb Ghar, Sammi and many more. She was also the Information Minister during the caretaker government in Sindh.
Yasir Nawaz already has one film which is yet to be released titled Chakkar. It stars Ahsan Khan and Neelum Muneer and is said to be a thriller-comedy. Chakkar will be Yasir’s fourth film, with Wrong No.,Wrong No.2 and Mehrunisa V Lub U to his credit.
