Popular rapper Drake wished Bollywood’s emerging actress, Athiya Shetty on her 26th birthday with a rather cheesy comment on Instagram. The God’s Plan singer is often seen commenting and liking the Nawabzaade star’s posts on Instagram leading to speculation whether the two share a closer relationship than friendship.
Athiya shared a photo of herself cutting a cake and wearing a birthday cap which she captioned: “This one was extra special and happy indeed. Thank you for all the love, wishes, and blessings. I truly feel so tremendously grateful and special. To my main people, I love you. You know who you are. PS: 26, be kind.”
The photo quickly became viral as the In My Feelings singer commented on it wishing the Mubarakan actress a happy birthday and calling her a “a true goddess”. “Happy birthday to my SHETTY a true goddess!!!! Guess who’s watching Mubarakan 3 times on the tour bus in your honour.”

Earlier, he left a comment saying “legend” on her photo with her father, Sunil Shetty. Before the rumour mill could go into an overdrive, a close friend of the Bollywood actress clarified that the Canadian rapper is just a close friend and nothing more, as reported by India Today.
The two first met last year at a restaurant in London. Both were accompanied by their friends and reportedly hit it off really well. They have been friends since then, the close friend revealed to the leading daily.
