Saif Ali Khan’s daughter, Sara Ali Khan, who was set to make her debut with Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath, might have to face a few obstacles, it seems. Due to disagreements over several issues between the film’s director and producers, the film has reportedly been put on hold.
However, while it was earlier reported that Irrfan Khan’s award-winning film Hindi Medium will be returning with its sequel, there is now another update on the story.
As reported by an Indian publication, the makers are interested in signing Sara for Hindi Medium 2. It is being said that the young actress might be approached to play Irrfan Khan’s daughter, Pia in the film’s sequel which will go on floors in August.
The story flash-forwards by a decade so five-year-old Pia will be in her teens now, and the story will be a fresh take on the Indian educational system.
Irrfan will once again be seen playing the same Delhi based businessman, Raj Batra, who aimed to give his daughter the best education in the prequel.
Sara’s real-life mom, Amrita Singh had a huge role in the prequel and according to reports the makers are excited to have her daughter on board. However, one question still remains unanswered. Will Saba Qamar play the on-screen mom or not?
