In Karachi, where the need to withdraw from the hustle bustle and refresh yourself is never ending, the opening of a new spa is not news. However, Bellagio has certainly upped the game with a great state of the art salon and the opening certainly impressed us.
With a vast space sprawled over two floors, the salon was sleek and well done. Going to a congested salon that is cramped into a spa, hair, nail and makeup space altogether just loses the purpose of it as an area for luxury and indulgence, which is why Bellagio looked like what the perfect spa should look like!
The salon officially launched on Saturday, with a fuss free exclusive meet and greet where visitors got a tour of the sleek space. The event was quite star-studded with attendees including Aamna Ilyas, Aiza Khan, Aijaz Aslam, Feroze Khan and Sana Javed, out of which Aamna had gotten dolled up at the salon itself. Other than its spacious interior, what we loved were the savvy flatbeds at the hair station, which will ensure no more cramped necks when getting your hair washed! The basement was dedicated to a facial and spa room, plus a section for a mani/pedi station, with comfortable recliners and the works! The price range for their services was affordable (to our surprise) as usually the fancier salons tend to keep their prices on the higher side.
That said the essence of a salon lies in the quality of services it provides and the maintenance of standards over time. Sadaf, the owner of Bellagio, however has 30 years of experience in the industry, out of which she spent 15 years running her multi-brand spa in the UK which seems quite promising. We surely are tempted to go back and avail a much needed spa day, and of course report to you about our experience.
