Veere Di Wedding starring Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Kareena Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania has been ruling the box office ever since its release. The movie has already crossed the INR 50 crore mark, however, it was banned in Pakistan due to its vulgar content.
The four feisty female friends are not done yet and will be back sooner than you’d expect — if you were expecting that at all. According to an Indian publication Mid-Day, a sequel to Veere Di Wedding is already being planned with producers Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor are apparently in talks.
“Ekta and Rhea may come from different schools of cinema but have always aimed to make films that are distinctive and become a talking point,â€Â Mid-Day quoted a source as saying.
“We would start immediately. But Kareena is not doing another film now as she wants to concentrate on her son. Sonam is busy with Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga and after that The Zoya Factor. Swara too is tied up. So we’ll have to wait until next year. But we are definitely coming back with a sequel,†the source added.
The producers will start working on the script and once that is done, they will try coordinating the four actors’ availability. Hope this one won’t be banned in Pakistan.
