Working together for the first time, the father-daughter duo Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor are all set to star in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s next titled Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga.
While Anil and Vidhu had earlier collaborated for 1994 movie 1942 — A Love Story, this is the first project with the director for Sonam.

According to the filmmaker, the movie is titled after the popular track by the same name. He was speaking at the opening ceremony of MAMI 19th Mumbai Film Festival.
“Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga is a big project for us, and it’s a great thing that Anil is collaborating with us to make it. In fact, both Anil and Sonam will be part of the cast of the film,†said Vidhu to a leading news agency.
Vidhu Vinod Chopra is also gearing up for his next production, Sanjay Dutt biopic, which is being directed by Rajkumar Hirani.
