Imran Ashraf and Urwa Hocane are both fine actors, there’s no disagreement there. Aehsun Talish — who last directed hit serial Yeh Dil Mera — knows his craft well, no disagreement there either. What happens when you get these talented people to work together on a project? You get Mushk!
Drama serial Mushk has been in the making for quite some time now but we finally got to see how it looks after HUM TV released its teasers today (Tuesday). Glad to report that we are not disappointed. Although we are quickly introduced to a lot of characters and several plot points in the two 40-second teasers, it’s difficult to ascertain how these characters and plot points are connected — which certainly is a good thing given how our TV channels and drama makers have a habit of giving away everything in the promos.
The story seems to be set in a rural background with Urwa’s character appearing to be the most intriguing. In one shot she can be seen taking money, lots of it, from Raza Talish’s character (yes Raza — who played Mithoo in Suno Chanda 2 — is in it too!) and in another, she seems to be enchanted by Adam — played by Imran — who appears to be in love with Momal Sheikh’s character (yes Momal is in it too!).
All said, the teasers do tease the viewers enough to leave them wanting for more. Mushk features Imran Ashraf, Urwa Hocane, Raza Talish, Osama Tahir, Sehar Khan, Hassan Ahmed and Qavi Khan. It has been written by Imran Ashraf, directed by Aehsun Talish and produced by Momina Duraid. It has not yet been revealed when the first episode will go on air but not to worry, we will let you know as soon as we find out.
