Cricket and Pakistani celebrities have a strong bond. Just as any normal person, the stars also watch matches, become sad on our team’s failure and anticipate victories with full fervour. Cricket World Cup 2019 fever is on an all time high and the excitement multiplied when Pakistan won it’s first match in this tournament against England on Monday by 14 runs scoring 348 runs. Indeed the win overwhelmed us all and Pakistani celebrities took to social media to celebrate.
Prime Minister Imran Khan tweeted to encourage the team.
Congratulations to the Pakistan cricket team for a great win and for coming back into form after a poor start in the warm up matches and the first WC match. You have the talent, all you need is the self belief that you can go all the way.

Mahira Khan, Humayun Saeed, Feroze Khan, Sania Mirza, Mawra Hocane and many others also expressed their joy.
