Saba Qamar is one of the few actresses in Pakistan whose projects always bring something new to the table and hence are sure shot hits. Last seen in drama serial Cheekh, the actress was missing from the silver screen for a long time. Good news is that Saba just announced her next film venture, titled Kamli, and it is Sarmad Khoosat’s directorial.
Saba Qamar posted a series of pictures on her Instagram in which she is underwater; while each picture has a watermark of Khoosat Films. The film is slated to release in 2020.
This isn’t the first time Saba and Sarmad are working together. She was in Sarmad’s film Manto (2015), which earned a lot of praise. The two also worked together in drama serial Baaghi in 2017. The actress also forayed into Bollywood in the same year with critically-acclaimed and lauded film — Hindi Medium — with Irrfan Khan.

Last year, Sarmad announced two major film projects, one of which is his Punjabi film — Zindagi Tamasha — which is all set to screen at Busan International Film Festival in October.
“I’m working on two films. The first one is a ‘badass’ kind of a feature film, the shooting for which will start in November (Zindagi Tamasha),†he revealed. “As for the second film, the mood and genre is something that the audiences would love to watch and the shooting will begin sometime around March next year,†he told Instep.
