Saba Qamar to play a politician in upcoming project ‘Mandi’

It seems that Saba Qamar has finally been offered a role that suits her strong and charismatic personality. Her long time wish has come true as she is currently essaying the role of a politician in a project.

It was announced a few weeks ago that Saba will be doing a project titled Mandi with Ainy Jaffri Rehman, Mikaal Zulfiqar and Shayan Khan. Now reports are rife that Saba will be seen as a stateswoman, Uzma Rana.

Saba and Mikaal have also posted pictures together from the sets of the web series. Mikaal is sharing the screen with her in a pivotal role. The two can currently be seen in drama serial Fraud as well.

Though Saba didn’t share much details of the project, she took to Instagram and confirmed the news of her portraying a politician with her pictures. She is clad in black attire from head to toe and has covered her head with a dupatta.

“Mandi. Jahan Sab biktay hein [a large marketplace where everything sells],” she wrote in the caption.
