After Khilti Kali, Badlaan and Gangster Guriya, another new song from Baaji — Ik Tu — has been released and this one stars Osman Khalid Butt and Meera against the picturesque locales of Northern Pakistan. This one isn’t a foot tapping number, but the soft tune will gradually grow on you as the song is an ode to the romantic ballads of our films from yesteryear.
Composed by Shahzad Ali and penned by Shakeel Sohail, Ik Tu will held its head strong in the narrative of the film as the video depicts how Rohail cares for his muse, Shameera, who also reciprocates the feelings. The Punjabi lyrics definitely strike an emotional chord with light and melodic composition, giving a break to notorious club numbers. Zeb Bangash’s soothing vocals also makes it a pure treat to listen to.

The video is pleasant to the eyes with scenic views that look like landscape paintings. These beautiful backdrops along with the sweet tune set the mood perfectly, however, we are disappointed to see scenes that remind us of Bollywood flicks. Meera in a yellow sari and Osman in a muffler gives us serious throwback to the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil sequence of Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor.
