After earning critical acclaim for her performance as Aaliya in period drama Aangan, Mawra Hocane will soon be back on our television screens in a new drama serial, Daasi.
Though Something Haute broke the news a few days ago, HUM TV has now officially released two teasers of the upcoming drama, starring Adeel Husain opposite Mawra. We have also learnt that this drama is a full-fledged love story with a strong and intense romantic track. That’s a good news for the fans of both actors as they will be seen together for the first time as a couple.

Mawra’s character Sunehri appears to be a happy-go-lucky girl in the teasers who is known for her sunehri hair. What’s yet to be seen is who is Faryal Mehmood playing and what tragedy will hit Adeel Husain as we also see a funeral in the teaser.
HUM TV hasn’t revealed the director or writer of the play as yet, but it is likely to go on air in mid-September.
