Junaid Khan is pairing up with his Sun Yaara costar, the talented Hira Mani for an upcoming serial titled Makafaat. The project comes after both the leading actors have had a successful run individually this past year.
With a string of hits under his belt including Kamzarf, Silsilay and Ishq Tamasha, the multitalented Junaid will be sharing the screen with Hira for the second time after their 2017 blockbuster hit Sun Yaara. Hira is no stranger to hits either, having wrapped up her widely loved performance in Do Bol recently.
“I am extremely excited about this project, not only because the character I am playing has various dimensions, but also because I’m going to be back on screen with Hira, who is extremely fun to work with and is someone my fans enjoy seeing me on screen with,’’ said Junaid when talking about his forthcoming serial.
Filming for Makafaat, which is being produced under the banner of Mastermind Productions, is scheduled to start after Eidul Azha in Karachi, and a major part of the serial will reportedly be shot in Europe as well.
