Iqra Aziz and Farhan Saeed’s winning characters Jiya and Arsal in Suno Chanda were loved by all and sundry last year. After a successful run of the first season, the producers couldn’t help but offer a second season, two episodes of which have already been aired and with the hype they’ve created it’s unlikely to die down any time soon. This leads us to the burning question; will there be a third season?
In an exclusive conversation with Something Haute, Farhan Saeed has left us guessing the answer. “We never expected season 2 while we were working last year. If this season also ends with the same level of excitement, then you never know,” he said.

Farhan did say that writer Saima Akram Chaudhry has no plans of penning a third season. “I was talking to the writer and she was clear in her mind that she is not going to do (write) a third one. But you never know; we were as clueless about it after season one,” he added.
In the second season writer Saima Akram has introduced a couple of new characters who will lead the story further along with Jiya and Arsal’s usual theatrics. Guess we have to wait and watch where the show heads after 30 episodes.
