Irrfan Khan has finally returned to his job after a major health scare. He was diagnosed with — what he himself had termed — a “rare disease” last year which later turned out to be a Neuroendocrine tumour.
But it seems all is well now. After returning to Mumbai, the actor has now even started shooting for his next film Angrezi Medium, which is a sequel of hit film Hindi Medium featuring our very own, Saba Qamar. Irrfan shared an interesting picture from the sets and from the looks of it, he is playing a mithai wala named ‘Champakji’ in the sequel.
His excitement is evident:

Irrfan’s unconventional avatar is feeding to the curiosity of his fans. In the picture he is wearing a pale shirt, paired with non ironed brown pants, posing in front of a sweet/namkeen shop called Ghasiteram Mishthan Bhandar (GMB) situated somewhere in Udaipur, Rajasthan where he is currently shooting. “GMB serving since 1900s. It is going to be fun to tell another story,” he wrote in the tweet.

The movie also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan in lead role who has replaced Saba Qamar in the second installment. With the movie only in its first week of shoot, it is reported to release some time in 2020.
