Undoubtedly after Imran Ashraf’s stellar performances as Bhola in Ranjha Ranjha Kardi and Rehan Chaudhry in Inkaar, it is impossible to not wait for his next project. To his fan’s delight, Imran is playing a romantic hero in his next serial, titled Kahin Deep Jalay, opposite Neelam Muneer.
The drama appears to be revolving around love and family issues and will start to air from 3rd October, replacing Mera Rab Waris on Thursdays at 8 pm on Geo TV.

By the looks of the teasers, Imran has left the traits of all his previous characters. The actor has successfully transitioned from a character actor to a romantic hero, with no hints of an endearing Bhola or a menacing Rehan in Zeeshan (his character in Kahin Deep Jalay). Neelam is playing Rida, who is getting married to Zeeshan and it seems she is committed to this relationship. However, things can’t be that simple. We suspect that while everything appears perfect at first sight, Rida will face unexpected challenges, twists and turns in her married life, and the story will unravel around how she deals with them.
It seems that Kahin Deep Jalay is giving a fresh opportunity to both its leads. Not only Imran, but even Neelam will be seen in a postive, romantic role after successfully pulling off a negative character like Ulfat in the highly-praised Dil Mom Ka Diya.
Written by Qaisera Hayat and directed by Saima Waseem, under the banner of 7th Sky Entertainment, we expect the family drama to offer something new to the viewers.
