We have seen Imran Ashraf change avatars and personas at the drop of a hat. Whether it’s his performance as an affable Bhola in Ranjha Ranjha Kardi or a menacing Rehan Chaudhry in Inkaar, audiences have loved him. However, we are yet to see him in a light-hearted comic role. It seems that Imran heard us as the actor has signed his debut feature film — Dum Mastam — which is a romantic-comedy, directed by Mohammed Ehteshamuddin of Superstar and Aangan fame.
Imran will make his silver screen debut alongside Amar Khan, who has also written this film. The actress made her television debut with Ghughi in 2018. She got recognition with her performance in horror play Belapur Ki Dayan.

Imran and Amar both announced the film on Instagram along with the details of the project. The cast includes Saleem Mairaj, Sohail Ahmed, Adnan Shah Tipu, Momin Saqib and others.

Produced under the banner of Adnan Siddiqui and Akhtar Hasnain’s Cereal Entertainment, Dum Mastam is expected to release in 2020. Adnan took to Instagram and shared:
“It’s a rom-com helmed by the maverick director Ehtashamuddin who directed Superstar recently. Last but not the least, we’re also introducing Momin Saqib in one of the supporting cast in the film, who’s a Instagram sensation and is phenomenal with his comic timings.
