While stars of upcoming film Parwaaz Hai Junoon have been busy promoting their film, Hania Aamir, who’s the female lead, seems to have had enough of it all after reportedly facing harassment.

Taking to social media, the actress wrote about a harrowing incident she faced during the ongoing promotions.

“Being a public figure does not mean that we are public property and meant to be harassed by men disguised as fans,” the actor tweeted, questioning the fans of their claim if the cause them ’embarrassment, discomfort and psychological trauma’.

“Acts like these force us to reconsider and doubt our decision to meet fans in public places,” she further added.

Hania is right that absolutely nothing justifies the objectification and it is upsetting to see women still being reduced to nothing but mere objects of desire for some. She also announced,  “It is because of such individuals that women are scared to step out of their homes, not work and live their lives in fear. Respect all women as you’d expect the women of your own households to be respected.”

While we do not know what exactly happened at the event, we’re sure it must’ve been caused the actor a lot of hurt to me mistreated by ‘so-called fans.’

“So if you come across a video of me swearing out of my mind, just know it’s a woman putting a disgusting man in his place. And next time you want to make a move? Don’t hide in the crowd because I’ll show you what women are really made of,” she concluded.
