A picture featuring Osman Khalid Butt, Ahad Raza Mir, Ahmed Ali Akbar and Wahaj Ali went viral on social media yesterday night. The four lads were seen in college uniforms, while we can spot Pakistan’s flag and the motto ‘never give in’ in the background. As soon as the pictures was posted by the actors on their Instagram feeds, people started speculating that it is Alpha Bravo Charlie’s sequel or remake. However, we have found out that this isn’t the case.
Something Haute has learnt that they are all part of a drama serial that tells the story of four friends and their journey from college to professional life. The picture is taken at Lawrence College, Murree, which is where their college life has been shot in the play. Interestingly, actor Faraz Inam, who played one of the lead roles as Faraz Ahmed in Alpha Bravo Charlie, will be seen playing a high ranking officer in the drama. This is probably the only connection this drama shares with the classic play.

The actors captioned their pictures SSG, which may have been a hint at Pakistan Army Special Service Group commandos but there are no confirmed reports. Written by Mustafa Afridi (of Aangan and Sange Mar Mar fame) and directed by Saife Hasan, the working title of the drama is Humein Pyar Hai and is expected to on air on HUM TV.
Other than the lead actors, Alizeh Shah (Superstar), Zara Noor Abbas, Hajra Yamin and Vaneeza Ahmad are part of the cast.
