Senior journalist, Arshad Sharif, who was also a writer and television news anchor, was shot dead in Kenya earlier today. The unfortunate news was confirmed by his wife on Monday morning. The whole nation was heartbroken to hear about his death and for the loss of his family.
His wife, Javeria Siddiqui confirmed the news on Twitter and requested people to respect the family’s privacy.
“I lost friend, husband and my favourite journalist @arsched today, as per police he was shot in Kenya. Respect our privacy and in the name of breaking pls don’t share our family pics, personal details and his last pictures from hospital. Remember us in ur prayers.”
