Marking Junaid Jamshed’s first death anniversary this December, his fellow contemporary and friend, Salman Ahmad has now released a short film honoring the late singer, titled Ansoo: A celebration of the life and times of a Vital Sign.
Killed in a plane crash last year, Junaid remained an integral part of the industry despite leaving music about a decade and a half ago due to his songs like Dil Dil Pakistan amongst others hits from Vital Signs.

Taking to Twitter, Junoon’s former guitarist, and founding member, Salman Ahmed declared that this week, they would be celebrating and honouring Junaid through the film.
“Junoonis, due to popular demand on social media and Vital Signs and Junoon fans’ love, Ansoo will be released today,†Salman posted. “It will give us one whole week to celebrate the life and times of JJ. Stay tuned to this space.â€
Ansoo: A celebration of the life and times of a Vital Sign delves into the vast career of the singer and offers fans a moving insight into his life which was filled with love for others, friendships, music, and religion.
