Ahsan Khan, an actor who’s bursting at the seams with talent and adds a unique charm to whatever he tries his hand at, be it dramas, movies or even hosting, is all set to appear in a new movie titled Pardey Mein Rehne Do.
The movie is a romantic comedy that carries a social message, one that hasn’t been touched upon earlier by anyone in Pakistan, or even Bollywood for that matter. Talking about the project, Ahsan revealed that it’s being helmed by the same team as that of his previous Chupan Chupai, which came out in 2017. The movie has been written by Mohsin Ali, who will also be directing it and it’s being produced by Zayed Sheikh.
“Pardey Mein Rehnay Do will be released somewhere around Eid-ul-Fitr or Eid-ul-Azha. Chupan Chupai was also wrapped up relatively quick so once this goes on floors, we’re sure it will be done by that time,” Ahsan said during an exclusive conversation with Something Haute when asked about the expected wrap up of the film.

The Udaari actor mentioned how he appreciates the sort of movies that Ayushmann Khurrana does. “They tackle social issues in a really good way, where it’s not lost in the glamour of a commercial film. I would often ask myself why don’t we make such films, and I feel this one (Pardey Mein Rehnay Do) is going to be like that, sort of new-age cinema,” shared Ahsan.
“I really like that the movie has great content, and I’m sure people will like it,” he added.
No other announcement regarding the cast has been made yet, however the team is in talks with some. We’re guessing that they’ll be revealed shortly. Till then we’re taking Ahsan’s word for it and hoping that the movie makes for a good watch.
