Nabeel Qureshi and Fizza Ali’s film Actor in Law starring Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayat also happens to be one of the last movies Bollywood actor Om Puri shot before his sudden demise. Thus, to honour the late actor, the film is all to release in India.
The film addresses problems faced by the average Pakistani, like load shedding, advertisement overload on the public walls and child labour.

While Actor In Law hit cinemas in Pakistan in 2016, the movie wasn’t released in India. The film will now be screened privately for a group of students at the Harkisan Mehta Institute in Mumbai on August 10.
The screening will be led by the college’s orientation day, followed by the inauguration of the Om Puri Foundation.

Late actor, the legendary Om Puri was actively part of the promotions that took place in the country and what’s even more interesting is that he did not even charge a fee for the movie. He loved the script and did the movie on a friendly basis, shared producer Fizza Ali with TOI.
Actor in Law was also screened at a film festival in Rajasthan earlier this year.
